Clint Howard, IAPS/MC, PSA, is a pastel artist based in Arkansas whose work captures the quiet beauty of the natural world. He began painting with pastels in early 2023 and has since earned recognition as an International Association of Pastel Societies Master Circle artist, a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America, and a Signature Artist with the American Tonalist Society.
In addition to devoting himself to art, Clint’s path wound through several creative and meaningful pursuits. He holds a degree in biology, spent nearly eight years in pastoral ministry, and has more than a decade of experience in web and graphic design. Today, he leads a multidisciplinary creative team at a marketing firm, combining his background in design and communication with a lifelong love of art.
In his paintings, Clint seeks to create moments of calm and reflection, scenes that stir memory, emotion, and a sense of belonging in the landscape. Influenced by both traditional and modern Tonalism, as well as impressionism and realism, his work often explores the subtle interplay of light, atmosphere, and mood that connects us to the natural world.
Clint also loves to share his love for art and techniques with others through demos, workshops, and his YouTube channel, The Pastel Workshop and also on 🌐 Website, f Facebook and 📸 Instagram
